PD2P arranges informal monthly seminars in which two postdocs or recently-hired staff present their research and respond to questions. The collegial atmosphere provides opportunities to propagate ideas, form new relationships, and present the research to a large audience. PD2P also organizes a monthly workshop to integrate postdocs into the broader Sandia community and inform new staff about processes like Laboratory Directed R & D (LDRD) which annually funds new, potentially groundbreaking ideas.
